The Wick S takes the classic silhouette of a candlestick, a wide flat base and a slender rising stem, and turns it into a rechargeable LED lamp. In this Graphite finish, the whole piece reads as one continuous, understated object rather than a lamp with visible parts bolted together. A small ring set into the edge of the base doubles as a handle, so you can pick it up and carry it from room to room the way you would carry a lantern. At just 16.5cm tall and 12cm in diameter, it is the compact size in Graypants' Wick family.

Graphite: Matte, Machined, Understated

This Graphite version is finished in a deep, matte grey that keeps the metal surface calm rather than reflective, so the eye goes to the glowing tip rather than the body. The body is plated aluminium, with an acrylic diffuser at the top of the stem standing in for a candle wick. It sits comfortably against black, charcoal and other muted materials, and works equally well in a pared back Scandinavian scheme or a warmer, textured room where you want the lamp itself to stay quiet.

How It Works

A 1W integrated LED sits inside the acrylic tip at the top of the stem, giving off a warm 2600K glow close to candlelight, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace. The lamp charges over USB-C and then runs cordless, with touch control on the stem that cycles through High, Medium and Low brightness, plus a Pulse setting that flickers gently like a real candle flame. Because it needs no wiring or socket, you can place it anywhere in the room and move it as often as you like.
