Questions People Ask

Does the smoke tint affect how bright the light is?
It does filter the light somewhat, making it less bright than a clear shade would be. If you need a lot of task light, pair it with a dimmable warm white bulb set to full brightness, and you'll get a good level of light with that smoky character.

Can I mix this with the other glass colours?
Absolutely. Some people use the clear and smoke versions in pairs on either side of a mirror, or cluster different colours along a hallway. The brass finish ties them all together visually.

Is this the darkest glass option available?
Yes, the smoke plated is the darkest in the range for this fitting. If you want even more subtle lighting, pair it with a lower wattage or warmer bulb.
