Smoke plated glass shades add some depth to this satin nickel and satin black Sycamore wall light, taking the brightness down a notch compared with clear glass while still giving a good level of light. It runs on two E14 candle bulbs and has an integral switch built into the fitting. The cooler nickel finish suits rooms with a more contemporary feel, while the smoked glass keeps things from feeling too stark.
As this fitting is bathroom rated, it can be used safely in zones 1 and 2, so it works well next to a mirror or basin as well as in hallways, bedrooms and living rooms elsewhere in the home. It is worth considering if you like the shape of the clear glass version but want something a little less bright and glary.
