A Slim House Number Light That Comes On at Dusk
The Steinel LN 1 LED is a slim outdoor wall light with a built in light sensor, so it switches on by itself at dusk. It uses a 4.9W integrated LED at 3000K warm white behind a smooth opal cover, and it comes with adhesive house numbers you stick on the front. That makes it a neat LED house number light and a low effort security light for the front of the house.

The housing is white plastic with a flat, evenly lit opal front. The pack includes self adhesive numbers and letters in a dark graphite colour, so you can spell out your own house number or name. The material is impact resistant to IK07, and Steinel shows it taking a football strike in its product photography. The LED is built in and is not replaceable.
How It Works
There is no motion detector. A photo cell reads the daylight level and turns the light on as it gets dark, then off again when daylight returns. You adjust the level it responds to between 5 and 200 lux using a dial on the unit. The light source is a Steinel LED system drawing 4.9W with a CRI of 80 to 89. It runs from a 220 to 240V, 50 to 60Hz mains supply and is a Class II fitting rated IP54, so it is protected against splashing water. Where It Works Best
Steinel suggests it for the front door, all round the building, a courtyard, a driveway or a wall. It fixes to the wall with surface wiring, and it suits any spot where you want a steady, low level light all night rather than a sensor that flicks on and off.

Does the LN 1 LED have a motion sensor? No. It has a light sensor only. It switches on at dusk and off when daylight returns, whether or not anyone is near it.
