A Corner Bracket for the Steinel IS 140-2 Sensor
The Steinel Corner Wall Mount 07 in black is a bracket that lets you fit the Steinel IS 140-2 infrared motion detector on an outside corner of a building. Mounted on a corner, the sensor can be angled to cover the area you want it to watch. It is an accessory only, so the sensor is sold separately.
Black Finish, Made for a Corner
This bracket is a black plastic moulding with a wedge shaped front that sits against the two faces of an external corner. The back has slots and recesses for cable entry and fixing. The white version of this mount is a separate product, so choose black if your sensor and wall are dark.
How It Works
The bracket fixes to the corner of the wall, and the IS 140-2 sensor then attaches to it, which turns the sensor to face outwards across the corner. It is made to suit the IS 140-2 only, so check you have that model before ordering. The sensor is a mains device. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this product.
Where It Works Best
It suits the external corners of a house, garage or outbuilding, where a flat wall mount would leave the sensor facing the wrong way. A corner position can help a sensor watch a side passage, a driveway edge or a rear garden at the same time.
