A Sculptural Pendant With Presence

The Swizzle pendant turns a ceiling light into a piece of sculpture. A drum of slender champagne tinted glass rods hangs from a brushed gold frame, catching the light from every angle whether the bulb is on or off. Switch it on and the rods glow from within, throwing soft vertical shadows across the ceiling and walls around it. This larger version is built to be the main event over a table rather than a supporting feature, with enough width to properly anchor the space beneath it.

Gold Frame, Champagne Glass Rods

This 40cm version has a brushed gold steel frame holding a wide drum of champagne tinted glass rods, each one cut and polished individually. The warm gold tone pairs naturally with brass, walnut and other warm wood tones, and reads equally well against a pale or a dark wall. At 26cm tall and 40cm wide, it is the larger of two Swizzle pendant sizes, with a broader shade that reads as a proper centrepiece rather than an accent.

• Takes 1 x E27 bulb, sold separately (around 6W LED, 60W incandescent equivalent)
• Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable bulb and connected to a dimmer switch
• Suspension cable is adjustable up to a maximum drop of 120cm, so it can be set for high or low ceilings
• Fixed to the ceiling via a round ceiling rose, best installed by a qualified electrician
• Steel frame and glass rod shade, Class I electrical rating (requires earthing)

What bulb does the Swizzle pendant take?
It takes a single E27 bulb, sold separately. An LED bulb of around 6W gives a similar brightness to the 60W incandescent bulbs this fitting was originally designed around.

Is this pendant dimmable?
Yes, as long as it is fitted with a dimmable LED bulb and connected to a compatible dimmer switch.
