The Searchlight Scholar Bathroom Wall Light combines a satin brass finish with clear etched glass, giving it a traditional look that suits period as well as contemporary bathrooms.
Materials and finish
Made from mild steel and glass, finished in satin brass with a clear etched glass diffuser.
How it works
Takes 1 x 7W max G9 LED bulb (not supplied) and is dimmable with suitable dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch such as a V-Pro rotary dimmer. As a Class I fixture it needs an earth connection, so it should be installed by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
Purpose built as a bathroom wall light, it's rated IP44 for use in splash prone areas. As UK bathrooms are divided into zones with different minimum IP rating requirements depending on proximity to water, it's worth checking the bathroom lighting zones and regulations before ordering.
