The Searchlight IP44 Chrome Illuminated Adjustable Bathroom Magnifying Mirror combines a magnifying mirror with an integrated light source, built to IP44 for safe use in a bathroom setting.
Materials and finish
Made from chrome metal, mirror glass and PC, finished in chrome.
How it works
The light is an integrated LED, so it isn't replaceable, rated at 60 lumens with a 4000K colour temperature for a clear, cool white light, and it isn't dimmable. As a Class II, double insulated fitting it doesn't need an earth connection, though as a wall mounted, hardwired light fitting, installation by a professional electrician is recommended. It's a round, wall mounted mirror with a built in light for close up bathroom tasks.
Where it works best
Designed specifically for the bathroom, ideal beside a basin or vanity area for shaving, makeup, or skincare where a magnified, illuminated reflection is useful. UK bathrooms are divided into zones with different minimum IP rating requirements depending on proximity to water, so check your bathroom lighting zones and regulations before ordering.
