The Searchlight Aintree Flush Fitting is an IP44 rated ceiling light in antique brass with a clear ribbed glass diffuser, suited to both kitchens and bathrooms thanks to its splash resistant rating.
Materials and finish
Made from mild steel and glass, finished in antique brass with a clear ribbed glass diffuser.
How it works
Takes two 60W E14 candle bulbs (not included) and is dimmable when fitted with dimmable bulbs. As a Class II, double insulated fitting it doesn't need an earth connection, though as a hardwired ceiling light, installation by a professional electrician is recommended.
Where it works best
Its IP44 rating suits a kitchen or bathroom ceiling. UK bathrooms are divided into zones with different minimum IP rating requirements depending on proximity to water, so if you're fitting it in a bathroom, check your bathroom lighting zones and regulations before ordering.
