The Orion Round 12 Light in Marble glass takes the same circular, twelve globe format as the rest of the Round family and gives it considerably more material depth. Each globe carries its own soft, veined pattern, and the whole fitting adjusts between a full hanging chandelier and a flush ceiling mount using the included extension rods.

In Marble Glass

Marble glass gets its clouded, veined appearance from opaque white strands worked into the molten glass as each globe is blown, a technique that resists uniformity by design. Arranged in a circle of twelve, the effect is a chandelier with real texture: some areas of each globe glow brighter, others softer, and the overall impression is layered and warm rather than flat.

Choose Your Finish

Frame options are Black Gunmetal, Lacquered Burnished Brass, and Polished Nickel, all hand finished at the Polish workshop. Against the veined Marble globes, Lacquered Burnished Brass reads warmest, while Black Gunmetal and Polished Nickel bring a cooler, more contemporary contrast to the same glass.

How It Works

Twelve E14 sockets take a 5W LED bulb each, included with the fixture, running at 2700K for roughly 60W combined and dimmable with a compatible dimmer switch. The circle measures approximately 121cm in diameter with globes 20cm across, and using the included extension rods and around 130cm of cord, the overall height adjusts from about 33cm up to a maximum of roughly 123cm. Complete weight is approximately 19.5kg. No IP rating is published, so keep this fitting to dry indoor rooms.

Where It Works Best

This version suits a square or round dining room, a formal sitting room, or any space already furnished with marble or veined stone where the glass can echo the material elsewhere in the room. Dropped low it makes an obvious centrepiece over a table; mounted higher and closer to the ceiling it still carries plenty of texture for a room with less height to spare.

Made by Schwung

Founded in 2014 in Namysłów, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen, Schwung produces every fitting to order in solid brass and hand blown glass. Schwung describes the Marble technique as one that depends on the glassblower working confidently with a material that resists a perfectly even result, which is exactly what gives each globe its character.
