The Molecule Linear 14 takes the family's radiating arm and hemisphere design and stretches it into a long, rectangular spine rather than a round burst, with fourteen glass hemispheres set along its length. It keeps the same atomic, structural character as the round Molecule chandeliers but suits a table or run of worktop rather than a single central point.

In Frosted Glass

In frosted glass, the fourteen hemispheres diffuse into a long, even wash of light rather than a row of individual points, spreading illumination the full length of the fitting without harsh spots or glare. That makes it a practical choice over a dining table or kitchen island, where even light along the whole surface matters more than sparkle.

Choose Your Finish

Available in Black Gunmetal or Lacquered Burnished Brass. Black Gunmetal keeps the long brass spine understated, letting the row of frosted globes read as the main feature. Lacquered Burnished Brass brings warmth to the spine and arms themselves, giving the whole length a more metallic, jewellery like quality.

How It Works

It takes 14 x 5W LED bulbs, included, at 2700K warm white and around 7000 lumens combined, for a total draw of 70 watts. It is dimmable with a compatible low voltage electronic dimmer. Supplied with extension rods, the drop is adjustable from approximately 938mm to 1838mm. The fitting measures 1494mm long and 753mm deep, and weighs approximately 14.2kg, so it needs a secure fixing across that span.

Where It Works Best

Its long, linear spread is built for a long dining table, a kitchen island, or a run of worktop where a single round chandelier wouldn't cover the space evenly. It also works well in an open plan kitchen and dining room, where its shape can visually separate the two areas without a wall.

Made by Schwung

Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. According to Schwung, every fitting is made to order in solid brass and mouth blown glass at the Namyslow workshop, and a linear piece this size is assembled arm by arm along its full length rather than built as a single mould.
