Schwung Glass Globe Single Pendant - Transparent Glass

The Schwung Glass Globe Single Pendant in transparent glass is one of the most straightforward and most enduring pieces the studio makes. A single hand blown transparent glass globe hangs from a clean brass drop, the simplicity of the composition putting all the emphasis on the quality of the glass and the warmth of the light within it. Available in five sizes from 150mm to 350mm, it scales naturally from a modest kitchen pendant to a genuinely commanding single drop over a dining table.

In transparent glass the globe is fully luminous when lit, the filament visible and the light direct and warm. It works beautifully hung in multiples at varying heights, clustered together over a kitchen island, or used as a single statement pendant in a room that wants something considered without being complicated. Available in Black Gunmetal, Lacquered Burnished Brass and Polished Nickel.

N.B:

• Clean brass frames regularly using a soft cloth or duster. A damp cloth may also be used. Make sure the frame is dry before switching it back on. DO NOT use any cleaning agents for brass parts.
• Clean glass globes regularly with a soft dry cloth. Clean only the outside of the globe. For dirtier glass, use a wet cloth first. Grease can be cleaned with a gentle glass cleaner.
• All Schwung fittings are made to order and are therefore non-returnable.
