Choosing Harbor Bronze

This version is finished in Harbor Bronze, a deep, almost black bronze with a warm undertone that shows in direct light. How It Works

Each Barbour takes a single E14 bulb, which is not included, so bring your own on installation day. The fitting is Class I, meaning it needs an earth connection, and dimming works fine if you fit a dimmable E14 bulb on a compatible dimmer switch. It is a hardwired fixture, so have a qualified electrician connect it rather than treating it as a plug in lamp.

The Story Behind Quoizel

Quoizel started in 1930 in Manhattan as a small lamp maker, and its very first products were hurricane lamps that burned oil rather than electricity. As homes switched over to mains power, the company moved with them, shifting from portable oil lamps into hardwired chandeliers, pendants and wall lights like this one. That long transition from flame to filament still shows in details like the Barbour's crystal accent, a nod to the ornament of those earlier lamps.
