The single lamp version of the Urban Restoration wall light is the narrowest fitting in the range, built around one steel cage and a single wavy glass shade. It's a good option where space is tight or where you want a pair of matching lights either side of a mirror or cabinet.
The Dark Antique Brass finish
The steel cage carries the same dark antique brass finish as the rest of the range, with the clear wavy glass shade adding a bit of texture and softening the light from the single lamp. Being a single unit, the cage detailing is more the focal point than it is on the wider multi lamp versions.
How it works
It takes 1 x E27 bulb, not supplied, and only dims if a dimmable bulb is fitted. It's a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician, and its IP44 rating protects against splashes and damp, suiting bathroom zones 2 and 3.
Where it works best
At just 14cm wide and projecting 19.7cm from the wall, this is well suited to narrower spaces such as either side of a mirror, a small bathroom, or a cloakroom where a wider fitting wouldn't fit comfortably. Fitted in pairs either side of a mirror, it also gives a more even spread of light across the face than a single central fitting.
