Quintiesse Rigby 2 Light Bathroom Wall Light - Polished Chrome

Rigby brings the look of an American barn light indoors, and in polished chrome it takes on a cleaner, more contemporary edge than its brass and nickel sibling. This two light wall fitting keeps the cast socket covers and mesh shade detailing that define the range, but the bright chrome finish pushes it toward modern rather than vintage.

Polished chrome finish

Polished to a bright, reflective shine, this chrome finish suits bathrooms with cooler tones, white sanitaryware or chrome taps and towel rails it can match. The clear seeded glass shades add a little texture against the smooth metal, so the fitting still has some visual interest rather than reading as flat and mirror like.

How it works

Fitted with 2 x E27 LED bulbs, not supplied. Choose dimmable LEDs if you want the fitting to dim, since standard bulbs will only run at full brightness. It's a Class I fitting, so it must be wired to an earthed supply by a qualified electrician. With an IP44 rating, it's designed to handle the humidity and occasional water contact of a working bathroom, suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3.

Where it works best

Spanning 48.3cm, this two light Rigby is a good match for a double vanity unit or either side of a mirror, spreading light more evenly than a single point would. Its 2.6kg weight makes it straightforward to fix to most walls, and the chrome finish suits en suites, guest bathrooms and cloakrooms where a brighter, more modern look is wanted.
