One opal shade, finished in fox gold
Finished in fox gold, this single wall light carries one round satin etched cased opal glass shade on a compact steel frame, bringing a touch of warmth to the smallest fitting in the Pim collection. It's often specced in pairs either side of a mirror, though it works just as well alone in a smaller bathroom or cloakroom where a full sized wall light would feel too much.
Fox gold finish
The frame takes on a fox gold finish, warmer and slightly more antique in tone than a straightforward brass, and pairs naturally with brushed brass fittings, warm stone and wood, or richly coloured tiling.
How it works
It takes a single G9 LED bulb at 3W, not supplied, so you'll need to source one; choose a dimmable bulb if you want it to work on a dimmer circuit, as dimming only functions with a dimmable bulb fitted. Projection from the wall is 21.9cm. As a Class I fitting, it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
Compact at 20.3cm high and 17.9cm wide, it suits mounting either side of a mirror for softer, more even light than an overhead fitting gives on its own, and works well as a single accent in a smaller ensuite or cloakroom. The IP44 rating means it's built for bathroom conditions, comfortable in zones 2 and 3 where steam and occasional splashes are part of daily use.
