Quintiesse Pim 5 Light Bathroom Chandelier - Fox Gold

Fox gold brings a warmer, almost antique cast to the Pim five light chandelier, where five round satin etched cased opal glass shades sit on slender steel arms in a soft golden tone. The midcentury inspired shape has a light, fanned out silhouette rather than a heavy cluster, and the gold finish suits period bathrooms and characterful, traditional spaces just as readily as newer builds looking for a bit of warmth overhead.

Fox gold finish

The steel frame is finished in fox gold, somewhere between brass and antique gold, with enough depth to catch the light without looking overly polished. It pairs naturally with brushed brass fixtures, warm stone or wood vanities, and dark or richly coloured tiling, where the gold tone lifts the whole scheme rather than disappearing into it.

How it works

Five G9 LED bulbs at 3W each are needed to light the fitting, and these aren't supplied, so factor them into your order; choose dimmable bulbs if you want the chandelier to work with a dimmer switch, as it will only dim if dimmable bulbs are fitted. The drop adjusts between roughly 26.8cm and 103.2cm, letting you set the shades higher or lower depending on your ceiling. Being a Class I fitting, it requires an earthed supply and should be wired in by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

An IP44 rating means this chandelier can handle the humidity and occasional splash of a bathroom, making it a good fit above a bath or across a run of vanity units, and the adjustable drop is handy if you're fitting it under a higher ceiling. It's also rated for use in bathroom zones 2 and 3, the areas away from the immediate splash zone around a bath or shower under UK wiring regulations, so it's worth checking your own layout meets those zone requirements first.
