Quintiesse Keynes Single Bathroom Wall Light - Polished Chrome

The Keynes single wall light takes a familiar wall light shape and gives it a crisper, more contemporary edge. A slender polished chrome arm carries a single rectangular shade of clear cut glass, its faceted surface catching and scattering light rather than simply diffusing it. It is a compact fitting, sized for use in pairs either side of a mirror or cabinet rather than as a standalone statement piece.

The body is steel, finished in polished chrome for a bright, reflective surface that sits comfortably with both period and contemporary bathroom fittings, which is why this design reads as equally modern and traditional depending on what it's paired with. The clear cut glass shade adds texture through its facets without obscuring the light source, and cleans easily with a soft cloth, useful in a room that sees steam and condensation.

How it works

Keynes single takes 1 x 3W LED G9 bulb, which is not supplied. The fitting can be installed facing upwards or downwards depending on the effect you want in the room. It is dimmable, but only if dimmable G9 bulbs are fitted, standard LEDs will not dim smoothly. This is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed mains supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At just 13.6cm wide and 16.8cm in projection, this is the size to reach for when wall space is tight, either side of a mirror in an ensuite or cloakroom, or anywhere you want symmetrical lighting without a fitting that dominates the wall. At 1.7kg it is light enough for straightforward wall fixing in most bathrooms.
