Quintiesse Hudson Single Bathroom Wall Light - Polished Chrome

Some fittings need to make a statement across a wide wall. The Hudson Single Wall Light isn't one of them, and that's exactly the point. It's the narrowest fitting in Quintiesse's Hudson collection, a single polished chrome arm and cut glass shade designed for the tight wall runs either side of a mirror where a wider bar of light simply wouldn't fit.

A single arm in polished chrome

The arm and backplate are finished in polished chrome, a bright, mirror like finish that sits comfortably next to chrome taps, towel rails and mirror frames. Its clear cut glass shade adds a faceted texture to the light without adding bulk, and the arm can be turned to face upward or downward depending on whether you want a softer wash or a more direct beam.

How it works

The Hudson Single takes 1 x 3W LED G9 bulb, which is not supplied, so you can choose the brightness and colour temperature that suits the space. Fit a dimmable G9 bulb and it will dim; a standard bulb won't allow this. It's a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed mains supply and installation by a qualified electrician. Its IP44 rating means it's built to handle the steam and humidity of everyday bathroom use.

Where it works best

At just 13cm wide, this is the fitting to reach for on a narrow wall panel, in a small cloakroom, or mounted singly on either side of a mirror where a wider fitting would crowd the space. Weighing 1.6kg, it's straightforward to fix on stud or masonry walls with standard fixings.
