Quintiesse Hudson 2 Light Bathroom Wall Light - Polished Chrome

A pair of lights either side of a mirror is one of the most reliable ways to light a bathroom well, and the Hudson 2 Light Wall Light is built exactly for that job. Two polished chrome arms carry clear cut glass shades, throwing an even, shadow free light across the face rather than the single downlight glare you get from a ceiling spot.

The metalwork is finished in polished chrome, a bright and reflective finish that holds its shine against tiled walls, mirrors and chrome fittings. Each arm carries a clear cut glass shade, which softens the light into a gentle glow rather than a hard beam, and the arms can be turned to face up or down depending on the effect you want in the room.

How it works

This fitting takes 2 x 3W LED G9 bulbs, not supplied, so you're free to choose the brightness and colour temperature that suits the room. Dimming is possible, but only if dimmable G9 bulbs are fitted; standard bulbs won't allow it. It's a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed mains supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician. With an IP44 rating, it copes well with the steam and splashes of a working bathroom.

Where it works best

Measuring 34.5cm across, this fitting suits either side of a mirror above a basin, giving flattering, even light for shaving or applying make up. At 2.9kg it mounts easily on stud or solid walls with standard fixings, and it works just as well in a family bathroom, ensuite or guest cloakroom.
