Quintiesse Hadrian 2 Light Bathroom Flush Fitting - Clear Glass - Chrome

This two light Hadrian flush fitting brings a brighter, more sparkling character to a bathroom ceiling than the opal glass version, since the clear shade lets both bulbs show through rather than diffusing them.

Chrome and clear glass

Polished chrome reflects and bounces light, so it tends to suit bathrooms with chrome fittings, mirrors or white sanitaryware, giving a clean, contemporary finish. With the glass being clear rather than opal, the shape of the two bulbs you fit will be visible through the shade, so it's worth choosing bulbs you're happy to have on show.

How it works

It takes 2 x E27 bulbs, not supplied, and dims only if dimmable bulbs are fitted, since the fitting has no dimmer built in. It's a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician. Its IP44 rating covers protection from splashing water and puts it within bathroom zones 2 and 3, though you should check the zone layout of your own bathroom, our bathroom lighting guide covers this in more detail. The fitting is supplied without bulbs.

Where it works best

Spanning 30.5cm across but sitting only 11.7cm proud of the ceiling, it's a good option as a main light in bathrooms with lower ceilings, where the two bulb layout gives more overall output than the single Hadrian fitting without adding height.
