Quintiesse Felixstowe Single Bathroom Wall Light - Scallop Shade

This version of the Felixstowe wall light is finished with a scallop edged shade, adding a softer, more decorative detail to the curved arm and chamfer backplate that define the collection. It is designed as a bathroom fitting, small enough to sit close to a mirror without dominating the wall.

A scallop shade in a neutral tone

The arm and backplate are polished chrome, while the shade is a faux silk fabric in a neutral shade with a scalloped lower edge. The scallop detail gives it a slightly more traditional, feminine character than a plain drum shade, and the neutral tone means it sits easily with most bathroom colour schemes rather than dictating one.

How it works

Felixstowe runs on 1 x 3W LED G9 bulb, which is not included. If you fit dimmable G9 bulbs it will dim; with standard bulbs it will simply switch on and off. This is a Class I fitting, requiring an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician. Its IP44 rating means it is protected against splashing water, and the wall fixings are supplied with the fitting.

Where it works best

Measuring 40.6cm in height with a 16.2cm projection, Felixstowe is proportioned for bathroom use either side of a mirror, above a basin, or along a run of wall where you want a soft, decorative accent rather than a strong task light. The IP44 rating makes it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, outside the immediate splash zone around a bath or shower, though you should confirm the specific zone requirements for your bathroom.
