Quintiesse Fayton Medium LED Wall Light - Matte Gold

The Fayton Medium is the taller of Quintiesse's two Fayton wall light sizes, standing 54cm high on a slim 9cm wide body that suits vertical runs beside doorways, mirrors or stairwells. Ribbed glass wraps the integrated LED, breaking a single light source into soft vertical bands rather than one hard point of glare.

Matte gold finish

This version is finished in a matte gold that leans warm rather than shiny, sitting well against brass door furniture, dark joinery or pale plaster. Beneath the clear ribbed glass diffuser, the aluminium and steel body carries the finish evenly along its full height, so the light appears as a continuous glowing column rather than a single bright bulb.

How it works

The Fayton Medium uses an integrated 21.6W LED producing 1477 lumens of warm white 3000K light, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace. It is dimmable, provided it is wired to a compatible dimmer switch, and runs from a Class II, double insulated supply, meaning no earth connection is needed. The fitting arrives complete and ready to be wired in by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 54cm tall and 5.73kg, the Medium size has enough scale to anchor a hallway, frame a front door, or sit either side of a dressing table mirror. Quintiesse lists this fitting as suited to hallways, bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens, living rooms and bathrooms, so it can move around the home rather than being confined to one room type.
