Quintiesse Castelle Single Small Wall Lantern - Bronze

The Castelle single small wall lantern brings a refined, transitional silhouette to an entrance or exterior wall. Its cast aluminium body wraps a ribbed, etched glass cylinder, with etched corner panels adding a subtle architectural detail that catches the light after dark.

Bronze finish

This version is finished in a warm bronze tone that develops a lived in, traditional character over time, well suited to brick, stone or painted facades. The amber toned etched glass diffuses light softly rather than casting a hard glare, making it a considerate companion for porches and doorways used after sunset.

How it works

Castelle takes a single E27 LED bulb, not included, so you can choose the warmth and brightness that suits your space. Fit a dimmable bulb and it will dim smoothly on a compatible dimmer switch, standard bulbs will run at a fixed brightness. It's wired to Class I, meaning it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician. Rated IP44, it's built to cope with driving rain and condensation typical of an exposed exterior wall.

Where it works best

At a modest 29.2cm high with an 18cm projection, this is the smaller of the two Castelle sizes, a good fit either side of a front door, along a porch, or on a garden wall where a bulkier fitting would look heavy handed. Its light weight of 2.5kg means it can go up without needing anything beyond a standard, secure wall fixing.
