Quintiesse Azores 4 Light Bathroom Wall Light - Chrome

Stretching to 69.1cm across four cylindrical shades, the larger Azores wall light is built for wider bathroom walls and double vanities, where a single 2 light fitting would leave the ends of a mirror underlit. It keeps the same vintage industrial styling as the rest of the collection, just scaled up to cover more of the wall in one continuous run.

The chrome finish

Polished chrome over steel gives this larger fitting a bright, cool finish that holds its own against a wide expanse of mirror or tiling without looking heavy. Each of the four shades uses clear fluted glass, its vertical ribbing diffusing the lamp so you get an even line of light rather than four distinct hotspots. It is a finish that reads well in contemporary bathrooms with chrome or brushed steel fittings already in place.

How it works

This fitting takes 4 x E14 LED lamps, which are not supplied. Dimming works only if dimmable E14 bulbs are used, non dimmable LEDs will not respond even on a dimming circuit. It is a Class I fitting and needs an earthed supply, with installation carried out by a qualified electrician. Its IP44 rating means it copes with splashes and humidity, appropriate for the more exposed areas of a bathroom.

Where it works best

At 69.1cm wide and 2.8kg, this is a fitting for a longer run of wall, such as above a double basin or a wide mirror where a shorter fitting would leave the edges dim. It suits family bathrooms and ensuites with generous vanity space, or anywhere you want one continuous light source rather than two separate fittings either side of a mirror.
