Rizzatto 301 takes the elliptical glass shape from the Rizzatto 32 pendant and sets it flush against the ceiling, a single mouth blown opal glass form held in a satin brass ring rather than hanging down into the room.
Satin brass and opal glass
The satin brass ring has a warm, brushed finish, framing a mouth blown opal white glass shade that spreads light softly and evenly, with the gently uneven surface typical of hand blown glass.
How it works
Rizzatto 301 takes a single E27 lamp, up to 40W, not included. It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in. With an IP44 rating, it's also suitable for installation in a bathroom, provided it's positioned in a zone that permits IP44 fittings. Where it works best
Its shallow profile and generous IP rating suit rooms with lower ceilings, a cosy seating area near a bay window, a landing, or a bathroom where an appropriate zone allows, giving soft, decorative light without the bulk of a pendant.

Rizzatto 301 is part of Nuura's collaboration with Italian architect and designer Paolo Rizzatto, whose work with Luceplan sits in the permanent collections of MoMA and the V&A, and whose Rizzatto collection for Nuura was nominated for the Danish Design Award in 2021.
