Miira Wall Outdoor takes the same single hand blown glass globe used in the indoor Miira wall light and adapts it for exterior use. A slim black backplate holds the glass just off the wall, giving a soft, sculptural glow at a front door, porch or garden wall.
Black finish and optic clear glass
This version combines a black metal backplate with an optic clear glass globe. The optic texture in the glass catches the light and creates a lively, faceted sparkle, rather than a flat, even glow, while the black finish keeps the fixture discreet against most exterior walls.
How it works
Miira Wall Outdoor takes a single G9 lamp (7W). It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in.
Where it works best
With an IP54 rating, Miira Wall Outdoor is designed to withstand the weather, making it a good choice either side of a front door, along a porch or in a covered outdoor entrance. Because it's rated IP54, it's also suitable for installation in a bathroom, provided it's positioned in a zone that permits IP54 fittings. Miira Wall Outdoor extends the Miira collection's single globe wall light into an exterior rated version, keeping the same understated Nordic design language as the rest of the range. Nuura was founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg.
