Miira Wall Outdoor takes the same hand blown glass globe as the rest of the collection and builds it into a fitting rated for use outside. A circular backplate holds a solid, candlestick style arm that carries the glass just clear of the wall.
Black finish and opal glass
This version combines a black powder coated arm and backplate with a large opal white glass globe. The opal glass diffuses the light softly and evenly, while the black finish gives the fitting a crisper, more graphic silhouette against a wall, well suited to more contemporary exteriors.
How it works
Miira Wall Outdoor takes a single G9 lamp (7W). It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in.
Where it works best
With an IP54 rating, this light is protected against dust and water splashes from any direction, making it a reliable choice for an entrance, porch or exterior stairwell. Because of that same IP54 rating, it's also suitable for installation in a bathroom, provided it's positioned in a zone that permits IP44 or higher fittings.
