Nuura Liila Outdoor Wall Light - Black & Opal Glass

Liila Wall Outdoor takes the floating glass sphere at the heart of the Liila collection and adapts it for exterior use. A metal arm in a matte black finish extends from the wall, angling a disc reflector that directs the light from a single mouth blown glass globe downwards, so it lights the space beneath it rather than shining outwards into the dark.

This version combines the black metal arm and reflector with an opal white glass globe. The opal glass diffuses the light evenly across the whole sphere for a soft, even glow, while the black finish weathers well against brick, render or timber cladding without drawing too much attention to itself in daylight.

How it works

Liila Wall Outdoor takes a single G9 lamp, rated up to 7W, and is a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician. With an IP54 rating, it's protected against dust and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for exterior walls and covered outdoor spaces. The fitting measures roughly 16.5cm across and 26cm tall, projecting about 21.1cm from the wall.

Where it works best

It's designed for front doors, porches, and other exterior walls where you want downward, functional light rather than a decorative glow. Because it's rated IP54, the same fitting is also suitable for installation in a bathroom, provided it's positioned in a zone that permits IP44 rated fittings or higher. About Nuura

Nuura, the Danish lighting brand founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg, is known for its mouth blown glass and considered metal finishes indoors. This outdoor version of Liila carries that same single sphere design onto exterior walls.
