Nuura Liila Muuse Small IP44 Wall/Flush Light - Nordic Gold & Opal Glass

Liila Muuse Small is the more compact version of Nuura's rippled Liila Muuse design, a small wave textured backplate paired with a single opal glass globe. Like the rest of the Liila range it can be used as a wall or ceiling light, but the decorative backplate gives it more character than the plainer Liila 1 pieces.

Nordic gold and opal glass

Here the compact rippled backplate is finished in Nordic Gold, paired with an opal white glass globe. The opal glass glows evenly across its surface, while the wave like ridges in the gold metal behind it pick up ambient light and shadow, giving the backplate a bit of movement even when the lamp itself is off. It's a good option where you want a touch more detail than a plain disc, without the scale of the Medium size.

How it works

Liila Muuse Small takes a single G9 lamp (7W) and can be fitted as a wall light or a flush ceiling light. As a hardwired fitting, it needs to be installed by a qualified electrician. It measures around Ø20cm across the backplate, projecting about 15.1cm from the wall or ceiling.

Where it works best

Its small scale suits hallways, landings or either side of a mirror, anywhere you'd consider a Liila 1 but want a slightly more decorative backplate instead. With an IP44 rating, it's also suitable for installation in a bathroom, provided it's positioned within a zone that permits IP44 fittings. About Nuura

Nuura, the Danish brand behind the Liila collection, was founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg. The Muuse variant takes the same mouth blown glass used throughout the range and sets it against a more textured, decorative backplate.
