Nuura Liila Muuse Medium IP44 Wall/Flush Light - White & Opal Glass

Liila Muuse Medium takes a more artistic approach to the Liila collection's single sphere design, setting a small opal white glass globe against a round metal backplate finished with soft, asymmetric waves. The effect is closer to a decorative wall medallion than a conventional light fitting, with the waved surface catching and reflecting the glow from the glass at its centre.

This version pairs a white powder coated backplate with an opal white glass globe. The white finish echoes the plaster ceiling medallions of older buildings, while the opal glass diffuses the light evenly for a soft, gentle glow rather than a sharp point of light, keeping the overall look calm and pared back.

How it works

Liila Muuse Medium takes a single G9 lamp, rated up to 7W, and works as either a wall light or a flush ceiling fitting. It's a hardwired fixture and must be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in. With an IP44 rating, it's suitable for installation in a bathroom too, provided it's positioned in a zone that permits IP44 fittings. The fitting measures roughly 42cm across and 16.8cm deep, with a 14cm backplate.

Where it works best

Its decorative backplate makes Liila Muuse Medium a good option above a bed as an alternative to a bedside lamp, in a hallway, or anywhere you want a light fitting that also works as a piece of wall decoration in its own right.
