Nuura Liila 1 Light Small IP44 Wall/Flush Light - Dark Bronze & Opal Glass

Liila 1 Small is the compact end of Nuura's Liila collection, a single hand blown glass sphere set close to the wall on a slim circular backplate. Small enough to use in pairs, rows or as a single quiet accent, it keeps the emphasis on the glass rather than the fitting.

Dark bronze and opal glass

This version sets a dark bronze backplate, a deep, warm metal with a slightly aged character, against an opal white glass sphere. The opal glass spreads its light softly and evenly across the whole globe, while the dark bronze recedes into the background rather than drawing the eye, making this a good option where you want the light itself to be the focus rather than the metalwork. It pairs naturally with black ironmongery, walnut furniture and darker, more tonal schemes.

How it works

Liila 1 Small takes one G9 lamp (7W) and works equally well as a wall light or flush ceiling light. As a hardwired fitting, it requires installation by a qualified electrician. It measures around Ø14cm and sits about 14.9cm proud of the wall or ceiling, on a backplate of roughly 10cm.

Where it works best

It's a good fit for smaller rooms and transitional spaces, cloakrooms, stairwells, or dotted along a hallway wall at intervals. With an IP44 rating, it's also suitable for installation in a bathroom, provided it's fitted within a zone that allows IP44 fittings, as outlined in our bathroom lighting zones guide.
