Nuura Liila 1 Light Medium IP44 Wall/Flush Light - Nordic Gold & Opal Glass

Liila 1 Medium is one of the smaller pieces in Nuura's Liila collection, a wall or ceiling light built around a single hand blown glass sphere set on a slim, circular backplate. It's a quiet, considered shape, made to add a small pool of light rather than dominate a room.

Nordic gold and opal glass

This version combines the Nordic Gold finish, a warm brushed metal with a soft golden cast, with an opal white glass sphere. The opal glass diffuses the light evenly through the whole globe rather than letting it show as a single bright point, so the effect is a gentle glow across the whole sphere, sitting on top of the warm gold backplate. It suits interiors with brass or gold hardware already in play, and works nicely against darker walls where the glow reads as a soft highlight.

How it works

Liila 1 Medium takes one G9 lamp (7W) and can be used interchangeably as a wall light or a flush ceiling light. It's hardwired, so installation needs to be carried out by a qualified electrician. It measures around Ø16.5cm and projects about 17cm from the wall or ceiling, on a circular backplate roughly 10cm wide.

Where it works best

It suits smaller spaces well, cloakrooms, hallways, landings, or either side of a mirror, where a pendant would feel too heavy.
