Nuura Blossi Table Mini - Black & Opal Glass

Blossi Table Mini is the cordless member of Nuura's Blossi family, a small, rechargeable lamp designed by Sofie Refer that you can carry from room to room or straight out to the garden table. A slender metal stem holds a compact acrylic shade, with an integrated LED glowing softly through it rather than casting a hard, direct light, so it reads more like a little pool of candlelight than a lamp.

This version pairs a black metal stem and base with an opal, frosted white acrylic shade. The opal finish spreads the LED's glow evenly across the whole surface of the shade, giving a soft, uniform light rather than a visible point source, and the black metalwork keeps the whole piece understated enough to sit happily on a dark dining table or a pale one alike.

How it works

Blossi Table Mini takes its power from a built in, rechargeable battery rather than a plug or a wired connection. It charges over USB-C and, according to Nuura, runs for up to 10 hours on a charge, with a three step dimmer built into the base so you can turn the light down for a quiet dinner or up for reading. The integrated LED is rated 3W, with a warm 2700K colour temperature and roughly 230 lumens of output, and the LED module itself is replaceable rather than disposable. It's rated IP65, so it copes with rain and splashes as well as everyday indoor use.

Where it works best

Because it's cordless, Blossi Table Mini works anywhere a plug socket doesn't reach, an outdoor dining table, a terrace, a bedside table, or moved room to room as the evening goes on. With an IP65 rating, it's also suitable for use in a bathroom, provided it's positioned in a zone that permits IP65 fittings.
