A Twin Head Pole Light for Paths, Borders and Planting

The LuxR Modux 4 Twin Pole Light has two adjustable heads on one slim 25.4mm pole that you push into the ground. The heads can be aimed in different directions, so a single fitting can light a path and the border beside it, or two sides of the same feature. Each head is only 40.60mm across, so the fitting stays discreet in the garden.

Solid Copper

This version is made in solid copper, a warm reddish brown metal that ages naturally outdoors, so the finish deepens and changes with the weather. Each head holds a screw mounted Cree LED. The whole fitting draws 8 watts, which the brand states delivers around 720 lumens at 700mA, with a CRI of 90+ at 3000K.

Choose Your Beam, Colour and Lens

• Beam: 26º is a narrow beam for a single feature, 36º is a medium spread, and 74º is a wide wash for planting.
• Colour temperature: 2200K is a very warm glow, 2700K and 3000K are warm white, and 4000K is a crisper neutral white.
• Lens: clear glass gives the sharpest beam, and frosted glass softens its edges.

How It Works

Push the pointed spike into the soil and aim each head where you want the light. The fitting is low voltage and runs from a 700mA constant current driver, which is sold separately. A dimmable driver lets you dim the light. The LED can be replaced later, so you can change the colour or the beam without buying a new fitting. A flange mount option is available if you want to fix it to a hard surface, and custom pole lengths can be supplied, so please contact us to discuss what you need.

Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where It Works Best

Use it along pathways, in borders and beside landscape features, wherever two pools of light from one pole will do the work of two fittings. A glare guard or a snoot can be added if you want tighter control of the light. Please contact us to check the right accessory for this fitting.
