A Copper Bracket Spotlight You Can Fix to Almost Anything
The LuxR Modux 4 Bracket is a very small low voltage spotlight on a stiff metal bracket. Fix it to any surface with a single 4mm diameter screw, then angle the head towards what you want to light. The body is 41mm across and 65mm long. This version is made from copper.
Copper That Ages Beautifully
Copper starts out warm and bright, then gradually develops a natural patina outdoors, so it blends into timber posts, fences and pergolas over time. The light source is a replaceable 4 watt Cree LED with a CRI of 90 plus, which keeps foliage and wood looking true to colour.
Choose Your Beam, Colour and Lens
- Beam: 26º is a narrow beam for picking out a single feature, 36º is a medium beam, and 74º is a wide beam for a broader area.
- Colour temperature: 2200K is a very warm glow, 2700K and 3000K are warm white, and 4000K is a crisper neutral white.
- Lens: clear gives the sharpest beam, while frosted softens the edges of the light.
How It Works
Screw the bracket to a wall, post, fence or beam and angle the head. The fitting runs on low voltage, so it needs a suitable constant current driver, which is not included, wired in series. It is dimmable when paired with a suitable dimmable driver. A 1m cable is supplied. The LED can be replaced or swapped for a colour LED, and the optic can be changed to alter the beam width.
Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where It Works Best
It suits trees, walls, pergolas and planting where there is no soil for a spike. Because it is rated IP68 and submersible up to 9m, it can also go in damp or wet spots. It is also available in M1 and M2.

How do I fix the Modux 4 bracket?
The stiff metal bracket takes a 4mm diameter screw, so it can be fixed to almost any surface that will hold one.
Does it come with a driver?
No. It is a low voltage fitting and needs a suitable constant current driver, sold separately. A dimmable driver lets you dim the light. We recommend a registered electrician installs it.
Which beam angle should I choose?
Choose 26º to light a single feature, 36º for a medium sized subject such as a shrub, and 74º for a wider wash across a larger area.
Will the copper change colour?
Yes. Copper develops a natural patina outdoors over time, so the finish will soften and darken gradually. This is normal and is part of its appeal.
Can I use it underwater?
It is rated IP68 and the data states it is submersible up to 9m. Ask us if you plan to use it in a pond or pool.
