A Slim Pole Light With One Adjustable Head
The LuxR Modux 2 Single Pole Light is a slim 1 inch (25.4mm) pole that pushes into the soil, with a single adjustable spot head held on a short side arm near the top. The head sits to one side of the pole, so you can aim the light at a path, a plant, a sculpture or a feature in the border.
Solid Copper
This version is CNC machined in solid copper, a high purity alloy that is at least 99.9% copper. It has a warm, reddish brown colour and ages naturally, building a protective patina over time. The light source is a screw mounted 2 watt Cree LED, which the brand states delivers around 180 lumens with a CRI of 90+.
Choose Your Beam, Colour and Lens
- Beam: 26º is a narrow beam for a single feature, 36º is a medium spread, and 74º is a wide wash for planting and paths.
- Colour temperature: 2200K is a very warm glow, 2700K and 3000K are warm white, and 4000K is a crisper neutral white.
- Lens: clear gives the sharpest beam, and frosted softens its edges.
How It Works
Push the pole straight into the ground, applying force only to the top of the pole and never to the head, then angle the head towards your subject. For hard surfaces the manufacturer offers an optional flange mount, so please contact us if you need one. The fitting runs on low voltage from a 700mA constant current driver, which is sold separately. A dimmable driver lets you dim the light. The LED can be replaced later, so you can change the colour without buying a new fitting.
Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where It Works Best
Use it to highlight a pathway, a garden feature or an individual plant or sculpture, wherever you want precise control over where the light falls. Because the head sits to one side of the pole, the light is easy to aim without the pole getting in the way. A glare guard or a snoot can be added if you want tighter control of the light. Please contact us to check the right accessory for this fitting. Custom pole lengths are also available, so please contact us if you need a different length.

Questions People Ask
What does the M2 single pole light do?
It is a slim pole with one adjustable spot head on a short side arm. You push the pole into the ground and aim the head to light a path, a garden feature or a single plant.
How is it different from a pole spot?
The single pole light has its head on a short side arm, so the head sits to one side of the pole. It is a slim 25.4mm pole with a single head.
Will the copper change colour?
Yes. Solid copper ages naturally and develops a protective patina over time, so its colour will deepen and change as it weathers.
Which beam angle should I choose?
Choose 26º for a narrow beam on one feature, 36º for a medium spread, and 74º for a broad wash across planting or a path.
Does it come with a driver?
No. It is a low voltage fitting that needs a suitable 700mA constant current driver, sold separately. A dimmable driver lets you dim the light. We recommend a registered electrician installs it.
How tall is it?
The manufacturer's drawing shows a pole 703mm long and 25.4mm in diameter. How much shows above ground depends on how deep you push it into the soil.
Can I get a different pole length?
Yes. Custom pole lengths are available, so please contact us with the length you need.
