A Tiny Copper Bracket Spotlight for Any Surface

The LuxR Modux 2 Bracket Mount is a very small low voltage spotlight on a stiff metal bracket. Fix it to any surface with a 4mm diameter screw, then aim the head where you want the light. The body is 41mm across and 65mm long, so it stays discreet.

Copper That Ages Naturally

This version is precision machined from copper and bronze. The copper starts out warm and bright, then gradually develops a natural patina outdoors, so it settles into its surroundings. The light source is a 2 watt Cree LED with a CRI of 90 plus, which helps plants and stonework look true to colour. It is rated IP68 and is submersible up to 9m.

Choose Your Beam, Colour and Lens

• Beam: 26º is a narrow beam for picking out a single feature, 36º is a medium beam, and 74º is a wide beam for a broader wash.
• Colour temperature: 2200K is a very warm glow, 2700K and 3000K are warm white, and 4000K is a crisper neutral white.
• Lens: clear gives the sharpest beam, while frosted softens the edges of the light.

How It Works

Fix the bracket, then angle the head towards your subject. The fitting runs on low voltage, so it needs a suitable constant current driver, which is not included, and it is wired in series. It is dimmable when paired with a suitable dimmable driver. A 1m cable is supplied. The Cree LED can be replaced or swapped for a colour LED, and the optic can be changed to alter the beam width.

Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where It Works Best

Use it where a spike would not work, such as on a wall, a post or a pergola, or anywhere you need a solid fixing point. Copper looks especially good against timber and brick. The same design is also available in M1 and M4.

How do I fix the bracket mount?

The bracket fixes to any surface with a 4mm diameter screw. The head can then be angled to aim the light.

Does it come with a driver?

No. It is a low voltage fitting and needs a suitable constant current driver, sold separately. A dimmable driver lets you dim the light. We recommend a registered electrician installs it.

Which beam angle should I choose?

Choose 26º for a tight beam on one feature, 36º for a medium spread, and 74º for a wide wash across a larger area.

Will the copper change colour?

Yes. Copper develops a natural patina outdoors over time, so the finish will soften and darken gradually. This is normal and is part of its appeal.
