A Powder Coated Glare Guard for LuxR Modux 1
The LuxR Modux 1 Glare Guard does two jobs. It protects the eye from direct glare or sparkle from the light source, and it works as an adjustable shield that sends unwanted light away from passers by. This version is UV powder coated aluminium, available in four colours, so you can match it to a Modux 1 fitting in the same finish.
Choose Your Colour
- Matt Black: the least visible choice among dark planting and soil.
- Matt Bronze: a warm, earthy tone that sits well with timber and stone.
- Matt Dark Grey: a softer alternative to black that suits slate and dark paving.
- Matt White: a bright option for pale render and light coloured walls.
How It Works
The guard turns a full 360º, so you can point the shield wherever you need it. It has a friction fit adjustable hood and flush fitted glass so water does not pool on it. It can be used with a hexcell louvre baffle if you want, and the chamfered end keeps turning even when tight. It is suitable for use with Bracket Mount and Spike Spot models.
Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
