Litecharga is built to look like a standard mains commercial bollard, right down to its frosted white lens, but runs entirely on solar power with a motion sensor built in for smarter security lighting.

The finish

This version comes in black with a Daylight White 6000K light, streamlined into a slim 160mm diameter body designed to sit alongside mains bollards without looking out of place.

How it works

Integrated Epistar LED chips sit behind a frosted, anti glare polycarbonate lens for even, glare free light. A PIR motion sensor jumps the fitting to full brightness when it detects movement, then eases back to 50% after 30 seconds rather than switching off completely, so there is always some light present. An Active Smart Power System also reduces output as the battery runs low, helping stretch runtime rather than cutting out abruptly. The body carries an IK10 impact rating, excluding the lens, with the solar panel rated IK06.

Where it works best

Suited to driveway entrances and approach paths where PIR triggered security lighting is wanted but running a mains cable is impractical, while still matching the look of a conventional bollard scheme.

Does the light turn off completely between motion triggers?
No, it eases back to 50% brightness rather than switching off, so there is always some light present, then brightens fully again when movement is detected.

What mounting options are there?
Litecharga mounts as standard via a concealed internal flange, with a Root Mount J Bolts Kit or Ground Spike Kit available separately for other fixing methods.

Does it need any wiring?
No, it is fully solar powered with an integrated, replaceable battery, so there is no mains cable to run.
