A simple way to root mount your Lumena bollard

This kit exists to solve one job: anchoring a Lumena bollard light securely into a concrete footing rather than relying on a surface mounted base plate. Four corrosion resistant J-Bolts and matching nuts fix through the internal base mount of compatible Pro bollards and solar bollards, giving a firm, tamper resistant hold once the concrete has set.

There is just one version of this kit, four J-Bolts and four nuts, so no finish or size decision is needed here. It is designed to be ordered alongside a compatible Lumena Pro Bollard Light or solar bollard that supports root mounting.

How it works

Each J-Bolt hooks through the internal base mount of the bollard and is set into a wet concrete footing; once the concrete cures, the nuts are tightened down to lock the bollard in place, resisting the kind of knocks and lateral pressure a surface mounted base alone would struggle with.

Where it works best

Use this kit wherever a bollard needs to stand up to public access, driveway traffic or occasional impact, footpaths, car parks and driveway entrances, rather than a low traffic garden bed where a surface mounted base is sufficient.
