The Parabola Pillar takes the same rugged die cast aluminium body as the rest of the Parabola range and tops it with a raised, pillar shaped head, giving a slightly taller silhouette while still throwing light gently downward through twin parabolic reflectors and a UV stabilised polycarbonate diffuser.

Choosing your height, mount and sensor

Finished only in graphite black, this bollard is chosen by height, mounting style and sensor rather than colour. Surface mounted versions run from 0.4m up to 1.0m, while root mounted versions start at 0.6m and bed at least 400mm into concrete for a sturdier install. Add the builtin photocell option if you want the light to switch on automatically at dusk, or leave it off to run the bollard from a separate switch.

How it works

It runs straight from the mains, needs no separate driver, and is wired in parallel so multiple bollards can sit on one circuit. The head takes a single E27 bulb, sold separately, and pin hex security screws with a supplied Allen key add a layer of tamper resistance to the fitting. Spacing bollards around 3m apart gives even coverage along a path.

Where it works best

The pillar head reads a touch more traditional than the flat topped version in the same range, which makes it a good match for period driveways, formal courtyard paths and entranceways where a slightly more decorative profile is wanted alongside the same rugged, corrosion resistant build.
