A Fortified Bollard For Driveways And Perimeter Paths

The Fortress is built for places where a light fitting needs to survive more than the weather, six aluminium rings guard its polycarbonate lens against knocks and vandalism, while a heavy gauge die cast head and stainless steel security screws keep the whole fitting solidly in place.

Choosing your finish

Finished only in black, the decisions here are practical rather than decorative: pick a height between 0.4m and 1.0m, a surface mounted or root mounted base (root mounting starts from 0.6m), and whether you want the automatic dusk to dawn photocell sensor built in.

How it works

Each Fortress takes a single E27 lamp, which is not included, we recommend a 15W LED corn lamp for a good balance of output and running cost, spaced at roughly 3m intervals along a path or drive for even coverage. Where the photocell option is chosen, the bollard switches itself on at dusk and off again at dawn with no manual operation needed. Replacement parts are available should any part of the fitting need attention down the line.

What bulb does the Fortress need?
It takes a single E27 lamp, sold separately. We recommend a 15W LED corn lamp, spaced around 3m apart if you are lighting a run of several bollards.

What does the photocell option actually do?
It adds a built in sensor that switches the bollard on automatically as light fades at dusk and off again at dawn, so there is nothing to remember to switch by hand.
