Fortress is the heavy duty option in the bollard range, with a thick extruded aluminium body and a vandal resistant lens designed for areas that see a lot of footfall or occasional rough treatment.

Choosing your height and mount

This fitting is offered as a Root Mounted bollard at 0.6m, 0.8m or 1.0m, using a professional in ground system set into concrete for extra security, or as a Surface Mounted bollard at 0.4m, 0.6m, 0.8m or 1.0m for bolting straight onto an existing hard surface. Add the Photocell option on either version to have the light switch on automatically at dusk.

How it works

A single E27 lamp, sold separately, sits behind a UV stop polycarbonate lens that is further protected by aluminium rings guarding against impact and interference. The 2.5mm thick extruded cylinder body and stainless steel fixing screws are built for durability, and replacement parts are available should any part ever need servicing. Recommended spacing is around 3m between fittings for even coverage using a 15W LED corn lamp.

Where it works best

Fortress suits driveways, footpaths and sectioned areas where a robust, tamper resistant fitting matters, particularly in higher traffic or higher risk locations compared with a purely decorative bollard.

No, Fortress takes a single E27 bulb which is sold separately.
