Constant Current Power for Smaller LED Circuits
The Light Symphony LS303520CLED driver provides a choice of 350mA, 500mA or 700mA output for compatible constant current LED fittings. It suits circuits that need a lower output driver while remaining part of a Light Symphony switching or dimming scheme.
The driver is selected around the fittings' electrical requirements. A compact garden light may use constant current technology, but its appearance or size alone does not tell you which setting it needs.
Three Settings in a Compact Enclosure
Light Symphony lists 13W at the 350mA setting and 20W at the 500mA and 700mA settings. The driver measures 150 x 45 x 30mm, making the actual enclosure size useful when planning the equipment position.
The manufacturer also lists output limits of 42V for the 350mA configuration and 28V for 700mA. The complete load must meet the applicable current, voltage and power limits, as checked by the installer.
How the Driver Responds to Lighting Controls
This is a mains dimmable driver used with compatible Light Symphony lighting controllers. It receives power from the selected controller output and supplies the LEDs at the configured current.
When the lamps, driver and controller are matched for dimming, the circuit can respond to brightness commands from the system. A switched arrangement is also possible where correctly specified.
The driver has no independent wireless or app connection. A Smart Timer adds app functions to the wider system, while the controller and driver handle the lighting circuit.
Where It Works Best
The driver is useful for small groups of compatible constant current fittings, such as a carefully specified accent lighting circuit. Its suitability depends on the electrical data for those fittings, not on a generic claim that it powers all garden LEDs.
For series wired LEDs, the combined forward voltage is part of the calculation. Two groups with the same total wattage can still have different driver requirements, so check the complete circuit.
Choose the Correct Driver Type
A constant current driver is not interchangeable with a fixed 12V or 24V supply for LED strip. Match the power supply type to the fitting manufacturer's instructions.
Where the required current is above 700mA, the 500mA to 1050mA driver provides other settings. Its higher rating is not a reason to substitute it for fittings that specifically require 350mA.

Questions People Ask
Is this a 350mA or a 700mA LED driver?
It can be either. The LS303520CLED is selectable at 350mA, 500mA or 700mA, and the setting must match the connected LEDs.
Does it deliver 20W at every current setting?
No. Light Symphony lists 13W at 350mA and 20W at 500mA or 700mA.
Will it make any LED fitting dimmable?
No. Dimming depends on the fitting, driver and controller all being compatible. One compatible part is not enough on its own.
Can I replace a 12V transformer with this driver?
Not usually. This is a constant current driver, so it should only replace a supply where the LED fitting specifically requires that type.
