A Ground Mounting Option for Your Lighting Controller

The Light Symphony Ground Mount Kit lets you position a compatible 2 or 4 channel lighting controller in the garden when a suitable wall is not available. It uses a pair of galvanised steel spikes to support the controller, giving the installer an alternative to the standard wall fixing arrangement.

This can be helpful in a planting border close to the circuits being controlled. It allows the controller position to be planned around the garden layout instead of forcing every installation onto the nearest building.

A Pair of Steel Supports

The kit consists of the mounting spikes, not the lighting controller shown in the installation image. The photograph illustrates how the supports sit against the back of a controller enclosure.

The supports attach to the compatible controller and allow the mounting height to be set through positioning in the ground. The final arrangement needs stable soil and enough access to inspect and maintain the equipment.

How It Fits Into the Installation

Use the kit with a compatible 2 Channel Lighting Controller or 4 Channel Lighting Controller. The mounting arrangement changes where the enclosure is supported; it does not alter how the controller is wired or operated.

The electrician should choose the location together with the cable route, wireless coverage and access requirements. A ground mount does not make an unsuitable controller location suitable, and the enclosure should remain accessible rather than disappearing beneath soil or dense planting.
