The Light Symphony 4 Channel Lighting Controller, model LS30540RGBW, gives you independent control over four garden lighting circuits. It brings switching, compatible LED dimming and DMX colour control together in one outdoor controller, allowing different parts of a lighting scheme to work separately or as a group.

That flexibility matters when your terrace needs a softer setting for sitting outside, while a path remains clearly lit and a specimen tree provides a focal point further into the garden. Separate circuits allow the lighting to respond to how you use each space.

Four Channels in One Outdoor Controller

Each output is rated at up to 500W, with an IP66 rated ABS enclosure protecting the controller outdoors. The enclosure measures 290 x 290 x 100mm. It can form the centre of a new installation or work alongside additional Light Symphony controllers as the garden develops.

How the Switching and Dimming Work

The controller receives wireless commands from compatible Light Symphony controls. Your electrician still connects the mains supply and lighting circuits: wireless refers to the control signal.

The 230V outputs can be configured for switching or leading edge dimming. With compatible dimmable lamps and drivers, the soft on and off function introduces and fades the light gradually. Non-dimmable equipment needs the appropriate switched configuration.

Colour changing lighting uses DMX control and suitable separate RGB or RGBW LED drivers, selected to match the connected LEDs.

Choose How You Control Your Garden

A compatible key fob provides straightforward handheld operation. Adding the Light Symphony Smart Timer enables app control and supported Alexa or Google Assistant voice control.

The system supports individual areas, grouped lighting and scenes, with 29 memory settings and a master on and off function. You can operate selected parts of the garden or bring the scheme together with one command.

Where It Works Best

A four channel garden lighting controller suits projects with several distinct lighting requirements. One circuit could serve terrace lighting, another a path, and the remaining circuits separate planting areas. This offers more choice over the evening scene than placing every fitting on a single circuit.
