The Light Symphony 1 Channel Lighting Controller, model LS30505SCC, brings a single lighting circuit into a wireless garden control system. Its compact format is useful where you want to control one feature or one group of lights without installing a larger multichannel enclosure.

That could be a small terrace scheme, a group of garden uplights or an additional circuit in a garden that already uses Light Symphony. The choice is about independent control: all fittings connected to this output operate as one circuit.

Small Format, Flexible Role

The resin filled module is rated IP68 by Light Symphony and uses a magnetic slide switch for mode selection. Its small enclosure gives an installer more flexibility over positioning, while suitable connections and compliance with the installation instructions remain essential.

The module can operate within a simple system or alongside other Light Symphony controllers. Adding a local circuit does not require every existing light to be rewired into this unit.

How the Controller Works

A compatible Light Symphony transmitter sends the command by radio. The controller then switches or dims the equipment wired to its output. It still needs a mains supply and correctly installed connections to the load.

The output is rated at up to 350W. Use dimming only with compatible dimmable lamps or drivers. Suitable non-dimmable equipment, including an appropriately rated pump, needs the correct switched configuration.

The controller supports grouped or scene operation, with 29 memories and a master on and off facility. The soft on and off dimming option gives compatible lighting a gradual transition.

Where It Works Best

This is a useful option for extending a scheme to one extra feature, particularly where that feature should be controlled separately from nearby lighting. A discreetly positioned controller can make sense for a small circuit that does not justify several spare outputs.
