A Teardrop Silhouette With Real Presence

The Waterloo Deco wall light takes a single blown glass drop and turns it into the whole fixture. The shade tapers from a rounded crown to a fine point, held just off the wall on a compact, angled arm so the glass seems to hang in the air. It's a simple shape, but the proportions give it real presence in a hallway, a bedroom or beside a bathroom mirror.

Choose Your Finish

This light ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. These photos show it in opaque white glass on a dark bronze toned arm, but Leverint blows the same teardrop shade in ribbed, fine ribbed, ribbed twist and fine ribbed twist glass too, and plates the wall arm in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

Each shade takes a single G9 bulb rated up to 4W, not supplied as standard, so you can choose the colour temperature and brightness you want. It's mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable bulb. The glass sits close to the wall, projecting around 150mm at a height of 230mm, on a slim angled arm. As with all Leverint fittings, we recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where It Works Best

Its compact drop shape suits a hallway or landing wall, either side of a bed in the bedroom, or as accent lighting in a living room or dining room. It also earns its place in a kitchen, mounted above a worktop or beside a doorway. Because it's rated IP44 and suitable for zones 2 and 3, it can go in a bathroom too. Made By Leverint

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London. Each shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould, so no two are ever quite identical. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders, Andrew Print, John Leveridge and Lee Rowland, bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry experience to every piece.

Can I choose the glass and metal finish separately?

Yes. The Waterloo Deco wall light is sold with a Choose Your Glass option, in ribbed, fine ribbed, opaque white, ribbed twist or fine ribbed twist, and a separate Choose Your Metal Finish option, in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel, so you pick both when you order.

Does it come with a bulb?

No. It's supplied without a bulb and takes one G9 bulb rated up to 4W, so you can fit the warmth and brightness you prefer.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, it's mains dimmable, as long as you use a compatible dimmer switch and a dimmable G9 bulb.

Can I fit this in a bathroom?

Yes. It's rated IP44 and suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, so it can go near a shower or bath, just not directly inside one.
