A Slim Column of Ribbed Glass for the Wall
The Temple Pillar Light Small is a narrow wall light built around a vertical column of ribbed hand blown glass, held to the wall by two round fixings. It stands 480mm tall and 100mm wide, projecting 60mm, which makes it the most compact of the four Temple Pillar sizes. The light comes from integrated LED strips rather than bulbs, and the ribs break it into soft vertical lines that glow along the wall. Leverint suggests it as a duo, so think of one on each side of a mirror, a bed or a doorway.
Choose Your Finish
Each Temple Pillar Light is made to order in your choice of hand blown glass, plated metal finish and LED colour, chosen from the swatches and dropdowns above when you order. The glass comes in ribbed or fine ribbed, and Leverint plates the metalwork in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel. The integrated LED strip is available in 2700K warm, 3000K warm white or 4000K natural white. Because the glass is blown by hand and the metal is plated by hand, the colour and texture of your light may vary slightly from the photos, and screens show colour differently from one device to another. If you are unsure about a finish before ordering, please call our customer service team.
How It Works
This is a hardwired, mains powered fitting. Two LED linear COB strips sit behind the glass and run from one external driver, which Leverint says needs to be concealed within a cavity, so it is worth planning where the driver will go before the wall is finished. The fitting is mains dimmable, and Leverint recommends a TRIAC dimmer, leading edge only. We recommend that a qualified electrician installs it, ideally one who is NICEIC registered.
Where It Works Best
Leverint points to contemporary bedrooms, hallways and bathrooms, and at 480mm tall the Small suits a bedside wall, a narrow hallway or either side of a bathroom mirror. Leverint rates the Temple Pillar Light IP44, so it is suitable for bathroom use. Our guide to bathroom lighting zones explains where an IP44 fitting can go in a bathroom.
Made By Leverint
Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where each piece of glass is shaped by hand rather than cast in a mould. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders bring decades of lighting design and glass artistry to every light. Keeping the ribbed glass even along the whole length of a tall, narrow shape like this one is a good test of that skill.

Questions People Ask
What glass, metal and LED colour can I choose?
The glass comes in ribbed or fine ribbed. Pick your combination from the swatches and dropdowns on this page when you order.
Does the Temple Pillar Light Small use bulbs, and can it be dimmed?
It has integrated LED strips, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. It is mains dimmable when used with a TRIAC dimmer, leading edge only, which is the type Leverint recommends.
Does it need an electrician to fit it?
Yes, we recommend that a qualified electrician installs it, ideally one who is NICEIC registered. It is a hardwired fitting with an external driver that has to be concealed within a cavity, so the wiring and the driver position should be planned and fitted properly.
Can I use the Temple Pillar Light in a bathroom?

How big and heavy is the Temple Pillar Light Small?
